2026 Championship Season -- Overview

 A curtailed trial season of 7 or 8 races in Formula D, simplified ruleset -- two laps per race, five teams involved with two cars each:

Point Distribution:

1st -- 9

2nd -- 6

3rd -- 4

4th -- 3

5th -- 2

6th -- 1

Teams:

McLaren (Tom)       Drivers: Senna (White-White), Prost (White-Black)

Lotus (Martyn)        Drivers: Piquet (Yellow-Yellow), Warwick (Yellow-Black)

Benetton (James)    Drivers: Schumacher (Green-Green), Brundle (Green-Black)

Ferrari (Lee)            Drivers:  Mansell (Red-Red), Berger (Red-Black)

Williams (Craig)    Drivers: Boutsen (Blue-Blue), Patrese (Blue-Black)

Grid Position:

For Race #1, standard rolls, with each team have best roll in top five, worst roll in bottom five. 

Wear point bonus for late grid placement.

For Race #2 onwards, Grid Bonus given depending on previous race performance -- the worse the driver did, the more of a boost they get.
